🌟PROFESSIONAL MAMMA MIA WORKSHOP🌟

SUNDAY 3rd MARCH

Come and learn the iconic songs and choreography from Mamma Mia! the musical, with strode alum Jess Michelmore. Jess has been performing as Sophie on tour for the last year and can't wait to be back to raise some "Money, money, money" for this fantastic theatre. You will be taken through the physical warm-up the cast does before every show, before learning a song and dance to suit the group. To finish each workshop there will be a Q&A where you can ask about Jess' journey from strode theatre to performing Mamma Mia! all around the world.

Jess grew up in Wells, attending the Southwest School of Dance from 3 years old performing at Strode Theatre with the dance school every other year. Jess then became a regular in Glastonbury and Street's Pantomime, playing princess Jasmine in 2012 - her first principle role. Jess performed with SWSD and GSMCS in many productions including Witches of Eastwick, Sister Act and Cats. Strode Theatre was where Jess' journey as a Performer started and she hopes it continues to provide inspiration and opportunities to other young artists as it did for her.
Jess can now be seen as Sophie in Mamma Mia! UK and International Tour

For those participating in the SWSOD workshops next weekend, Jess will be workshopping different routines from the show. We've avoided any cross overs, so pupils from SWSOD can still attend.
